Job Summary
As an Alternatives Middle Office Vice President in the JPMorgan Wealth Management team, you will support the Investor Community, including Bankers, Investors, and Financial Advisors for Alternative Investments. You will perform middle office functions such as trade capture, client reporting, pricing, and legal review for hedge funds, private equity, and real estate funds. With a strong focus on client service and risk controls, you will be a part of a team that makes a difference
Job Responsibilities
- Drive controls execution across legal document review on trade order instructions and trade instruction validation and booking from clients.
- Perform supervisory checks and sign off on external trade wire payments to fund houses.
- Manage escalations and engage in business conversations with Investor Support, Structuring, Fund Admins, Operations, and Client Service.
- Think strategically and partner with Product and Tech teams to design platform changes to reduce risk across manual processes.
- Participate in control reviews and audit walkthroughs .
- Engage in people management covering but not limited to performance reviews, career conversations etc.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Exposure to complex products like private equity, hedge funds, real estate funds, derivatives and structured products
- Exceptional organizational and prioritization abilities, with keen attention to detail and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Strong controls mindset with a focus on client satisfaction.
- Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Hands on experience in people management
- Proactive in taking ownership and responsibility to achieve goals.
- Strong analytical skills for driving process improvements.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Experience with modern automation tools like Alteryx, Python, Unqork
