The Applications Development Intermediate Programmer Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for participation in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to contribute to applications systems analysis and programming activities.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate 4+ years Angular UI Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing high-performance, responsive, and user-friendly web applications using Angular (version 12 and above). This role requires a strong understanding of front-end technologies, a commitment to best practices, and the ability to collaborate effectively within an agile development environment. While primarily focused on Angular, familiarity with other modern JavaScript frameworks like React is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

· Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and responsive user interfaces using Angular (12+) and associated technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript).

· Translate UI/UX design wireframes to actual code that will produce visual elements of the application.

· Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, and backend developers to deliver intuitive and high-quality user experiences.

· Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.

· Integrate front-end applications with RESTful APIs and ensure seamless data flow.

· Implement and maintain unit tests using frameworks like Jest or JUnit to ensure code quality and reliability.

· Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards, performance, and security guidelines.

· Troubleshoot and debug front-end issues using browser development tools, providing timely resolutions.

· Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes, tools, and best practices.

· Stay up-to-date with emerging front-end technologies and industry trends.

· Promote accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) in all developed solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications

· Proficiency: Expert-level proficiency in Angular (version 12 and above), including its core principles, component-based architecture, and ecosystem.

· Core Web Technologies: Strong command of HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript (ES6+).

· Language: In-depth experience with TypeScript, understanding its benefits and application in large-scale projects.

· Responsiveness: Proven competency in responsive web design principles and cross-browser compatibility development.

· API Integration: Solid understanding and practical experience consuming and integrating with RESTful APIs and AJAX.

· Version Control: Hands-on experience with version control systems, particularly Git and platforms like GitHub.

· Testing: Experience with unit testing methodologies and frameworks such as Jest (for JavaScript/TypeScript) or JUnit (if applicable for integration with Java backends).

· Debugging: Excellent debugging skills using browser developer tools.

· Accessibility: Understanding and practical application of web accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG).

· Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Preferred Skills (Bonus Points)

· Experience with UI component libraries (e.g., Angular Material, Bootstrap).

· Understanding of CI/CD pipelines for front-end applications.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
