We are looking for a detail-oriented Electrical BIM Modeler to join a high-performing MEP team, responsible for developing accurate and coordinated 3D models for electrical systems. This role focuses on creating and managing BIM models for lighting, power, ELV, and containment systems, ensuring seamless integration with other disciplines. You will play a key role in translating electrical designs into precise digital models that support construction, coordination, and documentation across projects.
Working in a collaborative environment, you will coordinate closely with mechanical, plumbing, and architectural teams to deliver clash-free and standards-compliant models. This role is ideal for someone with strong technical expertise in Revit MEP and a solid understanding of electrical systems within BIM workflows.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain electrical BIM models using Revit MEP, covering lighting, power, ELV, and containment systems
- Generate detailed drawings including layouts, schematics, and single-line diagrams from BIM models
- Perform interdisciplinary coordination to ensure clash-free designs across MEP and architectural elements
- Use Navisworks for clash detection, coordination, and issue resolution
- Ensure adherence to BIM standards, LOD requirements, and project specifications
- Support documentation, schedules, and material quantity take-offs from BIM models
- Participate in coordination meetings and contribute to resolving design and modeling challenges
- Maintain accuracy, consistency, and quality of models throughout the project lifecycle
What Makes You a Great Fit
- 3–10 years of hands-on experience in Electrical BIM modeling
- Strong expertise in Revit MEP with a solid understanding of electrical design principles
- Familiarity with Navisworks and AutoCAD for coordination and drafting
- Educational background in Electrical Engineering (Diploma or Bachelor’s degree)
- Good understanding of BIM processes, standards, and coordination practices
- Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality, accurate models
- Effective communication and teamwork skills for working across multiple disciplines
- Ability to manage timelines and deliver outputs in a fast-paced project environment
