Job Summary:

Our Software Technical Managers work across a talented global development team to plan and deliver advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) and User Experience (UX) projects. In this role you will collaborate with the Customer and with internal stakeholders such as Systems Engineering, Validation and Algorithm development teams to ensure the quality and on-time delivery of the software.

Your Role:

  • Technical leadership: Serve as the top technical expert for ADAS projects, overseeing the system architecture, component design, and integration of complex hardware and software. This includes the integration of sensor technologies like radar, LiDAR, and cameras.
  • Program management Collaboration: Work with Software Program management teams throughout the project lifecycle, from defining initial system specifications to the final, full-scale deployment of ADAS features in production vehicles.
  • Team management: Lead and mentor, cross-functional teams of engineers specializing in ADAS, embedded systems, software development and algorithm engineers.
  • Validation and testing: Oversee the testing and validation of ADAS features, both in simulation and with real-world vehicle testing, to ensure they meet stringent safety, performance, and quality standards.
  • Risk management: Identify and address potential technical program risks and issues, developing and executing mitigation plans to maintain project timelines to ensure timely software delivery.
  • Compliance and quality: Ensure all ADAS development processes and products adhere to established industry safety standards, such as ISO 26262 for functional safety. 

Your Background:

  • Extensive experience in leading engineering functions and a proven track record in strategic engineering and ADAS development.
  • Experience with Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems (ADAS), Parking & Radar Exposure
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering discipline (computer science, software, computer or related field of study)
  • 18+ years of experience with embedded software development and exposure to automotive systems architecture
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities, with a strong, results-oriented mindset. 
  • Working knowledge of AUTOSAR/QNX
