In this role, you will be responsible for driving the digital transformation journey by enabling public cloud capabilities across Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Amazon Web Services (AWS), and Microsoft Azure, all while ensuring strict adherence to technology, security, and finance governance policies.
Reporting to the Senior Director - EIT Governance & Portfolio Management, you'll join a service-focused team dedicated to supporting the incoming demand for cloud services and cloud application hosting.
What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)In this role, you will:
Operate and Govern Cloud Enablement: Manage and execute the current cloud enablement processes, including implementing cloud operations guardrails and overseeing the rollout of public cloud accounts and Identity and Access Management (IAM) access across multiple providers like GCP, AWS, Azure, and Oracle OCI.
Collaborate and Influence Stakeholders: Act as a technical change agent, liaising with internal customers (Architects, Project Managers, and business leaders) to compromise on or respectfully deny enablement requests, and influence colleagues to adopt governance patterns introduced by the Cloud Operations Leads.
Ensure Compliance and Security: Work in close collaboration with the Risk and Compliance organization to operate cloud governance policies that adhere to auditable security standards, ensuring the compliance of corporate standards while articulating best security practices.
The ideal candidate will have:
3+ years of experience in a technical cloud role, preferably as a DevOps Engineer, Cloud Engineer, or Cloud Operations Administrator.
Strong knowledge of cloud technologies and services, with hands-on DevOps experience across multiple cloud providers: GCP, AWS, and Azure.
Proven ability in using Terraform and/or GitLab, alongside Python engineering experience.
A Bachelor of Science (BS)/Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
