The Opportunity:
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Data Analyst with minimum 7 years of experience in data analysis, data handling, and reporting. The ideal candidate should have strong proficiency in Python, SQL, Excel and Power BI with a solid understanding of data manipulation, cleaning, and visualization techniques. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to derive actionable insights from complex datasets and support data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Develop and maintain Python scripts for data processing and automation.
- Removing corrupted data and fixing coding errors and related problems
- Developing and maintaining databases, data systems - reorganizing data in a readable format
- Demonstrate strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions, pivot tables, Power Query, data cleaning, and charting for reporting and analysis.
- Write SQL queries to extract, transform, and load data from various sources.
- Clean, validate, and organize raw data for analysis and reporting.
- Create dashboards and visualizations to communicate findings effectively.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
- Ensure data integrity and consistency across systems and reports.
- Preparing final analysis reports for the stakeholders to understand the data-analysis steps, enabling them to take important decisions based on various facts and trends.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven working experience in data analysis - Minimum of 7 Yrs
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Python (Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib, etc.).
- Good Knowledge in MS Excel (Knowledge on SQL will be an added advantage)
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Qlik).
- Solid understanding of data handling, data quality, and data governance principles.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
