Engineer-Specialist

Kone is looking for Engineer specialist-Layout team in Chennai Ambattur branch.

Responsibilities

• Knowledge and understanding of KONE equipment offering, technical design, structure and details  and of the technical strengths and limitations of products.
• Analyses contracts and specifications for equipment and selects the right products for the required solution.
• Develop highly demanding concepts and solutions globally.
• Updates order progress to other stakeholders on a timely basis.
• Take a leading global role as an engineering stakeholder in various development projects.
• May lead global development cross-functional engineering projects from several viewpoints.
• May make management decisions as substitute for management and typically can be substitute for a manager.
• Analyses contracts and specifications for equipment and selects the right products for the required solution.
• Cost understanding of solutions and components.
• Takes safety aspects into account and designs environmentally sustainable solutions when possible.
• As a member of a global engineering team, shares his/her knowledge and skills with colleagues and participates actively in meetings and workshops.
• Works independently on the assigned tasks and delivers the required results on time.

Are you the one?

B.E / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering

6-10 years of total experience and preferably 3-4 years of KONE experience

 Working knowledge in AUTOCAD.
 Knowledge in Microsoft Office tools in an added advantage
