The Role
We’re looking for an experienced FP&A Leader to own financial planning, forecasting, and analytical rigor across our global hardware and subscription business.
This role requires an expert in financial modeling, scenario planning, and subscription economics, with a deep understanding of hardware-to-subscription conversion funnels, budget-to-actual variance analysis, and methodologies that deliver highly predictable forecasts.
The ideal candidate is data-obsessed, detail-oriented, and unrelenting in pursuit of accuracy—a true business partner who transforms complex data into actionable insight.
What You’ll Do
- Lead all aspects of financial planning, forecasting, and analysis for global hardware and subscription businesses.
- Build and maintain advanced financial models for:
- Subscription and retention forecasting.
- Hardware + subscription conversion funnels.
- Pricing, margin, and lifetime value (LTV) analysis.
- Own the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting cycles, ensuring accuracy, alignment, and accountability across business units.
- Deliver budget-to-actual variance analyses, identify drivers, and propose corrective actions.
- Develop and refine predictive methodologies that improve forecasting precision for both recurring and transactional revenue.
- Partner with product, marketing, and operations to evaluate new product launches, regional expansions, and customer acquisition investments.
- Prepare and present executive-ready dashboards and insights, enabling data-driven decision-making at the leadership level.
- Collaborate with the Financial Controller and accounting team to ensure P&L integrity and forecasting alignment.
- Champion continuous improvement and financial automation using ERP and BI tools (NetSuite, Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: 7–10 years of progressive FP&A experience in D2C, consumer tech, or subscription-based businesses.
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Finance, Accounting, or Economics; MBA or CFA preferred.
- Proven experience building complex financial models for subscription and hybrid hardware + service businesses.
- Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, scenario modeling, and variance analysis.
- Advanced Excel and data visualization proficiency; experience with ERP (NetSuite, SAP) and BI tools.
- Strong grasp of unit economics, customer LTV, churn modeling, CAC, and conversion metrics.
- Exceptional attention to detail, ownership mentality, and comfort operating in ambiguity.
- Ability to clearly communicate complex financial insights to cross-functional and executive audiences.
- Ability to be in office three days a week.
