The Data & Quality Management Lead oversees the team ensuring data quality during policy migration, supporting QA testing, and collaborating with stakeholders.

The Data & Quality Management Lead day-to-day responsibilities include researching data from documents, coordinating with team members and communicating errors to appropriate parties, researching/finding data issues, working with internal resources to resolve issues, analyzing the data files, recording, and maintaining any errors and correcting.
The Data & Quality Management Lead will work with partners at all levels of the organization to support accurate, proper data exchanges within the organization. assist with any testing to observe and interpret data received and offer updates to their stakeholders, typically a departmental head.

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for overseeing and directing team activities to achieve organizational goals, focusing on planning, organizing, leading, and controlling
- Structuring the team, assigning tasks, and ensuring resources are available to achieve goals
- Monitor daily workflow including resolving errors
- Log issue in JIRA and assigned to the concerned person and monitor accordingly
- Tracking progress, evaluating performance, and taking corrective action when needed
- Escalates urgent problems requiring more in-depth analysis to appropriate Project Manager/Developer
- Lead and mentor a team of data management professionals, providing guidance, support, and training. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team.
- Work closely with data teams, analysts, IT teams, and business units to understand data needs and requirements. Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across departments.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders.
- Conduct performance reviews, providing feedback, and addressing performance issues.
- Making timely and informed decisions that align with organizational goals.
- Addressing conflicts within the team and fostering a positive work environment.
- Partner with migration leads to determining opportunities to support testing throughout migrations and decommission testing activities
- Act as a coach to the team, upskilling their quality assurance skills and activity seeking and providing training knowledge transfer and training opportunities.
Required Qualifications:
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and Protected Health Information (PHI) best practices.
- Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment.
- 8+ years of related experience in Data Management including 5+ years In Team and people management.
- 4+ years acting as a QA Manager or related experience
- Excellent analytical and creative problem-solving skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills; able to effectively present complex, technical information clearly.
- Excellent time management, organizational, and prioritization skills
- Able to work independently and with the team in complex and ambiguous environments and situations with little supervision.
- Knowledge of JIRA/Confluence/Microsoft Excel.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Graduate (BCom, BA, MBA, BTech) in any fields
- Good understanding of US Insurance, Preferably Life, DI, and Annuity
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of Salesforce/Polaris CRM software.
