What are we looking for?
We are seeking a mid-level Software Engineer to join our dynamic team at IPID. This role is perfect for developing backend engineers who are excited to build global solutions, working alongside a team of experienced engineers, deploying scalable solutions in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
This is a full-time position reporting to the Tech Lead.
Core Responsibilities:
- Write high-quality, testable and efficient code
- Create and maintain our CI/CD pipeline
- Work with the team to come up with designs that fulfil product requirement
- Keep documentation accurate and up-to-date
- Rotational On-call may be required
Key Requirements:
- 3 years minimum working experience in software engineering
- Strong proficiency with Typescript, Go, frameworks available for it such as Node.Js
- Familiarity in working with agile methodology, microservices architecture, gRPC, containers; and Kubernetes, NoSQL are desirable
- Experience working on cloud based technologies associated with Azure / AWS / GCP
- Strong analytical skills, creative, detail oriented, and solid problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as a reliable team player
- Authorization to work in Malaysia is mandatory; it is a hybrid position requiring you to be at least 3 days in the office
- Experience working in a globally distributed start-up or high-growth environment is a plus
