Who we are looking for

The Mobility Tax Compliance and Operations Manager is responsible for supporting the Head of Global Mobility with all matters related to global mobility programs, administration, policies, and processes.

The individual is expected to possess knowledge of all aspects related to cross border moves and be able to assist or manage as required.

This individual is expected to collaborate closely with internal colleagues and provide administrative support as well as guidance on policies and processes related to global mobility.

This role requires ability to work in a virtual work environment and collaboration with team members and stakeholders worldwide.

We are looking for an all-rounder and a self-starter

What you will be responsible for

  • Oversee and manage day-to-day activities in support of relocation, global mobility compliance administration, and the immigration program.

  • Oversight of internal stakeholder management and vendor management to ensure service delivery aligns with agreed-upon terms and established KPIs/SLAs.

  • Manage the requirements of internal third-party risk management and control functions.

  • Manage all aspects of Global Mobility compliance, both externally and internally.

  • Oversees client expectations and ensures effective delivery of Global Mobility services

  • Collaborates with Global Mobility and Payroll colleagues worldwide to identify potential issues and risk areas, develop innovative solutions, and ensure all matters are appropriately addressed.

  • Serves as a point of contact for regional HR professionals, business managers, and employees regarding mobility issues and procedures.

  • Provide support to the Global Mobility Team on ad hoc international projects aimed at enhancing the mobility program.

  • Contribute significantly to the ongoing development of the Global Mobility service delivery model.

  • Assist the broader global mobility team with the management of the business traveler program and coordination of international cross-border working arrangements.

  • On need basis support projects related to domestic relocation and domestic hybrid work arrangements.

  • Oversee and manage a small team.

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum 14 -16 years’ progressive experience in managing Global Mobility program-mobility operations, tax compliance, relocation, immigration.

  • Master’s and/or bachelor’s degrees in business, finance, or equivalent

  • Excellent presentation, interpersonal, and communication skills; effectively communicates (both written and oral) at all levels throughout an organization

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Self-motivated, detail oriented, team player

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, globally structured, and team-based environment, as well as work independently

  • Knowledge of tax equalization concepts and calculations

  • Knowledge of cross-border payroll reporting and withholding, including both actual and shadow processes.

  • Strong grasp of cross-border equity reporting and withholding

  • Should be able to articulate the logic and concepts in layman terms

  • A strategic mindset is essential, including the ability to identify opportunities for improvement, effectively communicate recommendations and action plans to management, and independently monitor progress and implementation.

  • Ability to oversee and provide guidance for staff development
