You have significant experience in designing, building, operating, and maintaining cloud-based infrastructure (including containerized workloads), with a strong focus on security, availability, observability, and disaster recovery. You are comfortable leading and setting the technical direction for DevOps & SecOps, and you like to collaborate with engineering, QA, and data teams to ensure the best possible outcome is achieved.

As a Platform Manager at Ezypay, you will:- Lead DevOps Initiatives: Set and guide the direction for DevOps across the company.
- Ensure System Reliability: Perform operational procedures and ongoing maintenance to support site reliability.
- Develop and Maintain Platforms: Plan, implement, and test modular, welldocumented, and efficient platform programs.
- Collaborate with Engineers: Work across the Engineering to uphold and drive progress on technology standards.
- Compliance Support: Maintain ongoing compliance with PCI DSS requirements.
- Architectural Input: Contribute to defining system architecture for both software and systems.
- Manage Cloud Infrastructure: Oversee a team responsible for AWS cloud infrastructure, monitoring (Datadog), CI/CD pipelines (CircleCI), and database management (RDS).
- Focus on Availability: Prioritize high availability, redundancy, and disaster recovery
- Lead and Mentor Team: Grow your team, fostering professional development and growth for your direct reports.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or relevant Information technology industry experience.
- 5+ years industry experience with an in-depth understanding of distributed cloud platforms
- 3+ years experience with containerised platforms on AWS
- Solid grasp of computer science fundamentals
- Experience leading a team
- Good working experience with Java.
- Good understanding of security best practices in the context of web applications
- Good understanding of networking concepts and protocols
- Working knowledge of a modern SDLC management methodology, such as SCRUM, Kanban
