We are looking for a Project Management Director to lead and inspire a team of around 50 Creative Project Managers (CPMs) and Team Leads. This is a high-impact leadership role focused on building a world-class project management function that delivers exceptional customer outcomes and drives operational excellence at scale.
You’ll work closely with senior leadership to align strategy, optimize performance, and shape a seamless operation that empowers our teams and impresses our customers. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, creative environment and knows how to balance structure with innovation.
What You'll Do
- Lead a high-performing team of ~50 CPMs and Team Leads, coaching, mentoring, and inspiring them to consistently deliver top-tier results.
- Drive operational excellence by designing and refining project management processes that promote quality, speed, and consistency across all engagements.
- Align with company strategy, collaborating with senior leadership to evolve the project management function in support of business goals.
- Oversee commercial performance, ensuring projects are delivered on time, on brand, and on budget, with a strong focus on profitability.
- Champion innovation by identifying process improvements, integrating new tools, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Elevate client experience by working closely with Client Success teams to ensure we meet and exceed expectations in every project.
- Build for scale, identifying bottlenecks and implementing lean workflows that support growth.
- Define and track performance metrics that reinforce accountability, quality, and efficiency across the team.
- Upskill and develop talent, leading training initiatives that keep the team evolving with customer and market needs.
What You'll Need To Succeed
- Proven leadership experience managing large project teams, ideally in media agencies, consultancies, or fast-moving scale-ups.
- Strong operational mindset with a track record of improving workflows, systems, and delivery standards.
- Commercial acumen, including experience managing budgets, optimizing resources, and driving profitability.
- Forward-thinking and tech-savvy, with a passion for integrating new tools and methodologies into daily operations.
- Customer-focused approach, with deep empathy for client needs and an ability to turn those into scalable processes.
- Data-driven decision-making, leveraging insights to improve performance and inform strategy.
- Excellent English communication skills with the capacity to inspire, influence, and align stakeholders at all levels.
- Agile and adaptable, able to prioritize in a high-growth, high-change environment.
