You are responsible for carrying out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm's business objectives.
Job responsibilities
- Executes software solutions, designs, develops, and troubleshoots technical issues, applying innovative thinking to build solutions and break down complex problems.
- Creates secure, high-quality production code and maintains algorithms that operate synchronously with relevant systems.
- Utilizes Java/J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot, and Hibernate frameworks to deliver robust applications.
- Builds REST and SOAP web services using Java, ensuring scalability and reliability at internet scale.
- Leverages Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS to deploy and manage applications efficiently.
- Implements unit testing with JUnit and mock testing using Mockito to ensure code quality and reliability.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience
- Design and implement systems, applications, and testing processes to ensure operational stability through hands-on practical experience.
- Code proficiently in multiple programming languages, leveraging Java fullstack expertise to deliver robust solutions.
- Develop, debug, and maintain code within large corporate environments using modern programming languages and database querying languages.
- Utilize build tools such as Maven and Gradle to streamline development and deployment workflows.
- Build messaging and event-driven architectures to support scalable and responsive applications.
- Work with multiple database platforms, including RDBMS and NoSQL, to optimize data storage and retrieval.
- Apply strong skills in HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, and JSON to create dynamic and interactive web interfaces.
