Senior Solution Architect (Cloud, Blockchain, IoT & System Integration Expert)

Synechron is seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Senior Solution Architect to lead the design and integration of innovative technology solutions that align with business needs and strategic goals. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate complex requirements into scalable, efficient, and sustainable technical architectures. The Senior Solution Architect will play a key role in shaping technology strategies, ensuring best practices, and staying ahead of technological advancements, thereby contributing significantly to our organization’s digital transformation and competitive edge.

Required Skills:

• Deep understanding of various technology platforms including mobile, cloud computing, IoT, and blockchain.
• Proficiency with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies such as Scrum.
• Hands-on experience with development tools like Git, JIRA, and Confluence.
• Ability to develop detailed technical specifications and documentation for new features and system enhancements.
• Stay current with the latest trends and incorporate innovative solutions into existing systems.

Preferred Skills:

• Practical exposure to emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence or data analytics.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to understand and analyze technology requirements, translating them into structured, scalable technical solutions.
• Create comprehensive technical specifications, architecture diagrams, and detailed documentation to guide development and integration efforts.
• Lead technical reviews, ensure code quality, and maintain high standards for system design and implementation.
• Provide technical guidance and support to development teams, fostering best practices and troubleshooting complex issues.
• Engage with testing teams to facilitate comprehensive validation of systems, ensuring solutions meet quality standards and business expectations.
• Conduct research on emerging technologies and recommend their integration to enhance existing offerings and future-proof systems.
• Actively participate in project planning, risk management, and strategic decision-making to optimize solution delivery and system performance.

Programming Languages:
Mandatory proficiency in Java, Python, or Node.js. Preference for experience with multiple languages and the ability to recommend technologies for specific project needs.

Databases & Data Management:
Understanding of relational databases (e.g., Oracle, MS SQL Server) and NoSQL solutions (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra). Proven ability to design and optimize data architectures.

Cloud Technologies:
Expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud. Capable of designing and deploying cloud-based solutions, ensuring security and scalability.

Frameworks & Libraries:
Knowledge of enterprise frameworks such as Spring Boot, .NET, or equivalent. Ability to evaluate and recommend suitable tools and libraries.

Development Tools & Methodologies:
Advanced experience with Agile/Scrum frameworks, version control systems like Git, and project management tools like JIRA and Confluence.

Security Protocols:
Understanding of security best practices including data encryption, identity management, and secure architecture design for cloud and IoT solutions.

• 15+ years of experience in software development, solution architecture, or related roles, with a focus on integrating diverse technology platforms.
• Proven expertise in designing solutions involving mobile, cloud, IoT, or blockchain ecosystems.
• Extensive experience working within Agile methodologies and using associated tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, conducting code reviews, and participating in large-scale system integrations.
• Domain-specific experience in finance, healthcare, or other regulated industries is advantageous but not mandatory.

• Participate in daily stand-ups, planning, and review meetings to coordinate ongoing project activities.
• Analyze and translate business requirements into detailed technical solutions.
• Develop, review, and optimize system architecture and integration designs.
• Guide development teams on technical implementation, standards, and best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across projects and systems.
• Document architecture decisions, technical processes, and operational procedures.
• Continuously monitor system health, security, and performance; recommend improvements.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; equivalent practical experience acceptable.
• Relevant certifications such as TOGAF, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or cloud security certifications are preferred.
• Commitment to ongoing learning and technical skill enhancement.

• Proven leadership in technical settings with the ability to influence teams and drive consensus.
