We are now looking for a

Patent and Innovation Specialist

You will be part of KONE Global Innovation team?  Innovation team creates innovative solutions to customers and manages innovation portfolio. Patenting team is part of Innovation Unit. Patenting team is responsible of patenting activities from invention harvesting to granted patents globally. Innovation team is a global function having members in Finland, China, Singapore and India.

As a Patent and Innovation Specialist you will

• Support R&D Innovation activities such as training of process and innovation methodologies together with R&D tribe leads and Innovation Champions
• Work closely together with R&D tribes and Innovation Champions to harvest inventions to the patenting process
• Conduct patent searches
• Have local responsibility in developing innovation and patent competences
• Report innovation and patent activity to local management
• Work closely together with global Patenting and Innovation team

We expect you to have

• B. Sc or M.Sc. in technology or a relevant field
• Practical patent experience from industry, patent consultancy, patent office or a patent agency
• Analytical approach and problem-solving skills
• Ability to learn quickly and open-minded attitude
• Ability to work both independently and as a team member
• Excellent networking and communications skills
• Fluency in English, other language skills are an asset
