We are seeking an experienced Java Architect/Technical Lead to design and drive scalable, secure, and high-performance enterprise applications. This role involves defining system architecture, guiding development teams, and ensuring the delivery of robust and maintainable software solutions. You will play a key role in shaping technical strategy, selecting the right tools and frameworks, and ensuring best practices are followed across the development lifecycle.
The ideal candidate is a strong hands-on professional with deep expertise in Java and enterprise technologies, capable of balancing architectural vision with practical execution. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into efficient technical solutions while maintaining high standards of quality and performance.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Design and define scalable, secure, and maintainable application architectures
- Select appropriate technologies, frameworks, and tools based on project needs
- Lead and mentor development teams to ensure high technical standards and delivery quality
- Conduct code reviews and enforce coding best practices and standards
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and other stakeholders to align technical solutions with business goals
- Drive adoption of modern design patterns, architecture principles, and development practices
- Troubleshoot complex production issues and optimize system performance
- Ensure efficient software delivery with a focus on reliability, scalability, and maintainability
- Guide teams in implementing testing strategies, including unit testing and quality assurance processes
What Makes You a Great Fit
- Strong experience in Java (Java 8 and above) with deep understanding of core concepts
- Hands-on expertise with Servlets and enterprise-level application development
- Experience in writing unit tests using JUnit and maintaining high code quality
- Good understanding of enterprise application architecture and system design principles
- Knowledge of JSP, XML processing, and build tools like ANT is an added advantage
- Proven ability to troubleshoot performance issues and optimize applications
- Strong leadership skills with experience mentoring and guiding development teams
