We’re seeking a Technical Lead with deep expertise in React Native (iOS) and React + TypeScript. You will lead the mobile engineering team, define technical strategy, and ensure high-quality delivery across iOS and Android apps. Backend experience in any language is a plus. This role balances hands-on coding with architectural decision-making and team
leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the development of React Native iOS apps, integrating native modules (Swift/Objective-C) as needed.
Drive Android app support and cross-platform consistency in React Native.
Define mobile architecture, navigation flows, and reusable component libraries.
Optional Backend: Guide backend development in any language/framework; ensure scalable APIs and background tasks.
Mentor and guide the engineering team on best practices, code quality, and testing.
Collaborate with Product, Design, QA, and DevOps for feature delivery and cloud deployment.
Shape technical strategy, sprint planning, and roadmap execution for mobile and frontend platforms.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
5+ years leading mobile/frontend teams; 10+ years overall in software engineering.
Strong React Native (iOS) expertise and React + TypeScript experience.
Nice to have: Backend experience in any language/framework.
Prior mobile development experience in Swift/Objective-C or Kotlin/Java.
Experience with cross-platform React Native development (future Android).
Strong understanding of databases, authentication, caching, and API security.
Familiarity with Docker/Kubernetes, cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure), and automated testing frameworks is a plus.
