Process complex US and Canadian payrolls, including regular and off-cycle payments, adjustments, taxes, garnishments, bonuses, equity, and year-end activities. Maintain Workday and payroll systems, manage employee tickets, resolve discrepancies, support audits and compliance, produce payroll and labor-cost reports, and assist with testing and process improvements. The role also provides training, documentation, cross-functional support, and oversight of transactional payroll work while working US Eastern hours from India.

Own complex, high-volume US, Canada, and Mexico payroll processing for more than 5,700 employees. Manage escalations, Workday EIB uploads, UAT, compliance, audits, tax filings, reconciliations, reporting, and vendor coordination. Provide Tier 2 support, troubleshoot payroll issues, improve processes, maintain documentation, and mentor Payroll Specialists. Serve as backup to the Payroll Team Lead while supporting internal stakeholders across HR, Total Rewards, Accounting, and Global Mobility.

Supports R&D financial close, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, headcount planning, vendor portfolio management, reporting, and process automation. Partners with Finance, R&D leadership, Talent Acquisition, and cross-functional teams to improve financial insights and operational efficiency. The role requires advanced spreadsheet and presentation skills, financial modeling, large-dataset analysis, and experience with financial systems. Work hours are 2 p.m. to 11 p.m. IST.
