Opendoor, a company focused on transforming the United States real estate industry, has announced the expansion of its operations in India with new offices in Hyderabad and Bengaluru. The Hyderabad office is located in HITEC City within Raheja Mindspace, which is the largest business park in the city. This new space is designed to foster innovation in areas including customer experience, infrastructure and security. Amenities in the new offices include collaborative coworking spaces, a gaming area, a gym, and space and around-the-clock support for mothers.
The Bengaluru office, set to open later in July, will also play a crucial role in supporting various departments including those managing and modernizing the company’s infrastructure. This expansion is part of Opendoor’s strategy to increase its employee base in product, design and engineering sectors.
Additionally, Opendoor continues to grow its existing team in Chennai, which operates from the coworking space of Workafella Teynampet. This location boasts an open-air rooftop cafeteria and houses hundreds of employees from the central operations, finance, HR, engineering and IT departments. Embracing a hybrid work model, Opendoor aims to provide flexibility and support in-person collaboration, which is essential for fostering innovation and addressing the complex challenges in the real estate sector.
