Zuppa, a Chennai-based company specializing in drone technology, announced ₹50 million in new funding, according to reporting by Evertiq. The investment, equivalent to about $585,000, came from Four Pursuits Ventures. This funding marks the halfway point of an ongoing capital raise that Zuppa plans to close at a value of almost $1.2 million.

The company manufactures cyber-secure drones and supplies defense clients with drone autopilot motherboards. It also offers operating software solutions for Windows and Android systems.

The round will go toward company expansion and scaling Zuppa’s Ajeet Mini drone platform, a solution offering a more secure and scalable alternative to foreign-origin drones, the Evertiq article mentioned.
