The Senior Machinery Expert develops specifications and provides technical guidance on rotating machinery and packaged units, ensuring compliance and quality in engineering projects.

Manages subcontracting activities from pre-award through closeout, including subcontractor qualification, RFI and RFP issuance, proposal evaluation, document preparation, negotiations, awards, amendments, claims resolution, and compliance with prime-contract flow-down requirements. Serves as the liaison between subcontractors and project managers while maintaining accurate, timely procurement administration.

Lead and manage India-wide Control Systems & Instrumentation engineering delivering FEED, detailed engineering, PMC, EPF and licensing support. Forecasts, analyzes and reports costs versus budget; develops and maintains cost control tools; prepares cash flow forecasts; validates cost components per contract terms; implements change management and earned value processes; facilitates cost and performance reviews; provides oversight and guidance to junior team members.

Lead and govern Project Controls across India, overseeing scheduling, cost control, risk management, performance reporting and project services for large-scale oil & gas and infrastructure projects. Drive standards, systems adoption (Primavera P6, Power BI), staffing, capability development, project assurance, and proposal support to improve predictability, profitability and delivery performance.

Senior mechanical specialist responsible for design, advisory, and vendor coordination for bulk material handling systems (conveying, storage, ship loading/unloading). Leads technical specifications, bid evaluations, vendor reviews, and supports global projects and site teams; supports conceptual through detailed engineering and revamp projects.

Support planning, coordination, execution and delivery of offshore Oil & Gas projects (FPSO focus). Serve as client contact, manage multidisciplinary interfaces, supervise teams, monitor schedules/budgets, handle procurement of mechanical equipment, support MOC, risk mitigation, HSE compliance, and participate in proposals and digital project delivery.

Lead engineering execution for large FEED/EPC/EPCm projects in energy and chemicals sectors. Drive engineering strategy, multidisciplinary coordination, client engagement, risk and quality governance, resource planning, and team development while supporting proposals and business growth.

Serve as a senior mechanical technical specialist for packaged equipment in refinery/petrochemical and offshore/LNG projects. Define specifications, select packages, prepare datasheets, evaluate bids, review vendor drawings, witness FATs, and support commissioning and startup. Provide FEED-stage input and mentor engineering teams while traveling globally to support projects and vendor coordination.

Perform detailed piping stress and flexibility analyses, develop piping mechanical specifications, special piping item calculations and support designs, create support drawings and requisitions, review plant layouts for loads, conduct special studies, and mentor junior engineers to ensure compliance with safety, performance, and regulatory requirements.
