Trainee or apprentice position within Valeo’s System Engineering organization, supporting research and development activities for innovative automotive mobility solutions. The role offers full-time experience in a global, multicultural engineering environment focused on intuitive driving, sustainability, safety, and reducing CO2 emissions.

Processes accounts payable transactions, including supplier master updates, PO and non-PO invoices, credit and debit notes, advance payments, payment runs, and payment entries in SAP. Performs supplier and GL reconciliations, clearing account reviews, AP aging and KPI reporting, monthly closing support, audit documentation, employee reimbursement processing, and compliance with internal controls and company policies.

Manage and roll out regional IT infrastructure standards across data centers, plants, workstations, networks, servers, storage, security, and user environments. Responsibilities include supplier and service-level management, incident resolution, infrastructure projects, audits, monitoring, backup and disaster recovery, budget support, and confidentiality protection. The role requires frequent onsite travel across the region, occasional after-hours or weekend work, and strong expertise in enterprise infrastructure technologies.

Manages supply chain activities for new automotive products, including logistics concepts, transportation, warehousing, packaging, supplier protocols, master data, planning, inventory, and project milestone coordination. Leads logistics FMEA activities, monitors supply chain KPIs, supports production ramp-up, controls obsolete inventory, and ensures compliance with quality, safety, environmental, and company standards.

Leads discipline design execution within assigned engineering projects, including budget management, quality, cost, delivery, technical reviews, corrective actions, QRQC, efficiency planning, and design reuse. Collaborates with engineering and technical project leaders to align timelines and specifications, while mentoring discipline designers and supporting competency development and continuous improvement.

Records accounts payable transactions, verifies supporting documents, archives records, processes payments, clears account items, supports balance sheet reconciliations and monthly close, prepares audit and tax documentation, resolves accounting discrepancies, approves e-procurement requests, and communicates with internal and external partners while following audit, ethics, compliance, and local legal requirements.

Perform finite element analysis simulations to validate thermal cluster products, plan engineering work, propose design solutions, and interact with customers. Ensure simulation results are delivered on time and meet quality expectations. Communicate simulation status and challenges proactively with technical leadership, collaborate effectively with team members, and uphold established engineering best practices and standards while developing new standards when appropriate.

Leads complex mechanical engineering projects, solves critical technical problems using QRQC, communicates solutions to customers, develops design standards, mentors engineers, supports digitalization and continuous improvement, contributes innovative solutions, protects intellectual property, and collaborates across disciplines.

Provide Level 2 mechanical CAD support and coordination for R&D users and COE centers. Support and troubleshoot CATIA V5 functionalities, collaborate with team members, and communicate with key users to resolve CAD-related issues.

Lead IT governance, KPI tracking, SLA and major-incident reporting, and service catalog maintenance. Coordinate with service delivery teams, drive problem management and RCAs, identify automation and continuous improvement opportunities, and produce leadership IT governance presentations.

Responsible for managing inventory levels, ensuring material availability, planning requirements based on forecasts, and improving supplier service rates in the supply chain.

Develop, research, benchmark, test and document state-of-the-art autonomous driving and vision algorithms, support IP and design reviews, and adapt DL/ADAS algorithms for embedded automotive platforms while improving processes and training colleagues.

Performs FEA simulations using Ansys Workbench, resolves convergence issues, interprets results, validates mechanical designs against test data, and proposes design improvements. Supports simulation methodology development, tool benchmarking, customer status tracking, documentation, and best-practice sharing. The role also contributes to technical development, coaching junior engineers, standards application, digitalization, continuous improvement, innovation, and cross-functional collaboration.

Leads complex optical engineering projects, solves critical technical problems using QRQC methodologies, communicates solutions to customers, mentors engineers, develops design standards, advances digitalization and continuous improvement, contributes innovative solutions and patent protection, and collaborates across engineering disciplines while managing budgets.

Leads technical strategy and customer R&D engagement for a specific automotive customer group. Oversees product development, technical quotations, customer requirements, project priorities, resource allocation, budgets, quality, timing, and reuse strategies. Coordinates cross-functional R&D teams, supports advanced development and value analysis initiatives, and ensures compliance with automotive standards and development processes. Manages staffing, performance reviews, training plans, team development, conflict resolution, and continuous improvement.

Lead technical execution and problem solving for engineering projects (Newness levels 2-3). Coach and mentor discipline engineers, develop design standards, drive digitalization and continuous improvement, communicate with customers, share technical knowledge cross-functionally, contribute innovative solutions and IP filings, and manage budget commitment for projects.

The Site Industrial Management Controller prepares reports, manages budgets, analyzes financial performance, ensures accuracy in costing information, and oversees the controlling department's activities while complying with company policies.

As a Principal Discipline Engineer, you will lead the development of computer vision algorithms for Automated Driving Assistance Systems on automotive SoCs, handle software architecture design, and optimize algorithm performance in real-time systems.
