Role Purpose: As the product visualisation VFX supervisor you will be at the front of our Chennai based team, driving the development and production of high-quality CGI CPG (consumer packaged goods) visual content. Your role will involve mentoring and training team members to expand their skillsets and implement efficient asset creation practices. Ensuring the output meets the high standards expected by our clients will be a key part of your responsibilities.
Reporting lines & key stakeholders:
This role has dual reporting lines.
UK - Head of 3D for matters relating to quality of output, production processes and training and development requirements for Chennai CGI team retained for product visualisation projects.
Chennai – Head of VFX for matters relating to HR and personal issues and team management.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Chennai product visualization team, collaborating closely with the UK VFX team.
- Train and develop team members to enhance their skills and adopt efficient workflows.
- Oversee asset creation for CPG products and automotive visualisations, ensuring high-quality outputs.
- Maintain and exceed client expectations through meticulous quality control.
Person Specification:
- Proven experience in CGI within the advertising space, specialising in product visualisation for jewellery, high end fashion, household products, watches, automotive.
- Expertise in 3DS Max and V-ray for imagery and animation of products, be able to jump in a produce work (as in create assets) when needed.
- Proficient in After Effects for compositing and Premier for producing colour accurate proofs and final client outputs.
- High-end Photoshop skills, particularly in re-touching CGI elements and comping CGI passes into background plates and accurate masking and finishing.
- Excellent eye for detail, with the ability to review and critique work to ensure quality.
- Photography skills would be an advantage.
