We're hiring an Account Executive based in Sri Lanka. You'll handle inbound leads, close deals, coordinate with our BDR team, and represent Ekwa directly to prospective clients across NA. This is a full-cycle inside sales role for someone who's comfortable owning both the conversation and the numbers.

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Inbound sales: Close inbound leads, run tailored follow-ups, and re-engage dormant prospects.
  • BDR collaboration: Partner with BDRs on scripts, outreach, and lead handoffs; mentor them with regular feedback.
  • CRM ownership: Keep HubSpot clean, accurate, and automated where possible.
  • Event representation: Represent Ekwa as a marketing expert at industry webinars and virtual events.
  • Sales enablement: Contribute to battle cards, case studies, proposals, and outreach content.
  • Market research: Track industry trends, competitor moves, and test new outreach channels.
  • Personal brand: Build a professional presence on LinkedIn as a subject-matter voice for Ekwa.
  • Performance tracking: Report weekly and monthly on pipeline, conversions, and personal metrics.

 

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Minimum 2-3 years of sales experience, preferably in inbound or consultative sales.
  • Excellent English communication — written and verbal, with client-ready fluency.
  • Hands-on experience with HubSpot or similar CRM and sales automation tools.
  • Strong analytical thinking — comfortable reading pipeline data and adjusting strategy.
  • Proactive, self-directed, and able to manage multiple priorities without supervision.
  • Comfortable engaging directly with North American clients on calls, emails, and virtual events.

 
Work Hours & Expectations

  • Since we deal with US clients, you are expected to work 8 hours a day, between 6.30 PM and 5.30 AM (this is non-negotiable).
  • *Note: Working 8 hours a day is a must.
  • You must work additional hours based on requirements (if needed only)
  • You must be 100% committed to completing your work according to the given deadlines.
