Job Overview:
The Accountant applies their conceptual knowledge of accounting and with a moderate level of guidance and direction from colleagues and leadership, is responsible for solving a range of straightforward accounting problems. They will be responsible for analyzing possible solutions using standard procedures, as well as building knowledge of the company, processes, and customers. The Accountant understands key business drivers and applies this knowledge to solve problems in straightforward situations through analysis of possible solutions using technical experience, judgment, and precedents.
ResponsibilitiesKey Tasks and Responsibilities:
- IRS Form 5471: Information Return of U.S. Persons w.r.t Certain Foreign Corporations
- IRS Form 5472: Information Return of a 25% Foreign-Owned U.S. Corporation, or a Foreign Corporation Engaged in a U.S. Trade or Business
- IRS Form 1042: Annual Withholding Tax Return for U.S. Source Income of Foreign Persons
- IRS Form 8802: Application for United States Residency Certification
- IRS Form W-9: Request for Taxpayer Identification Number and Certification
- IRS Form W-8BEN: E Certificate of Status of Beneficial Owner for US Tax Withholding and Reporting
- Federal Tax depreciation and basis roll forward calculation for federal income tax return purpose
- Experience to large audit firms or Captive Centre of US MNCs will be preferred.
Essential Qualifications and Education:
- CA- Qualified
- 2-5 years of relevant experience
- Strong technical, team, and communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and manage tight reporting schedules
