Position Summary

Within the CVS Paid Media organization, you will play a critical role in developing our long-term marketing technology and ad technology product vision across all lines of business within CVS Health and will ensure we translate our longer-term strategic visions into a working set of solutions that help us maximize our digital media capabilities.
This role will be responsible for management oversight of user identity work, using strategic vision to oversee media tagging and data connectivity platforms to drive value across the marketing department. While this role will work closely with both the CVS media managers and marketing teams, it will also require working cross-functionally with our analytics partners on setting the vision for implementation and our legal and privacy teams on ensuring compliance across all workstreams. You innovate and thrive in an analytical and creative environment where collaboration, client service, and new media development initiatives are leveraged in a data-driven approach to our product & service offerings.
The ideal candidate should have direct hands-on experience and expertise with media data, identity solutions, and data science. Experience within the digital marketing industry is a must. Experience within data connectivity platforms, retail advertising, or a media agency is a plus.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Setting strategic oversight of ad technology product planning and rollout
- Single-source owner for data collection, activation strategies, and implementation, including securing cross-functional alignment on project scope, benefits, cost, and timelines
- Lead process to identify new opportunities and needs for media activation and measurement and support brainstorming of new Ad Tech & MarTech uses cases
- Define, document, and implement business requirements, policies, and processes; Ability to balance short-term value delivery to the business with long-term efficiency and governance
- Design, build and maintain a set of processes and products for monitoring different data collection configurations and analytical reporting suites
- Lead cross-enterprise with business and technology partners when it comes the collection & enablement of our media data & pseudonymous consumer data
- Act as the key liaison between technology and business users on user identity projects via LiveRamp
- Provide product ownership over LiveRamp identity tool and provide direction to analytics and media stakeholders on best practices and governance for usage of the tool for audience strategy, first-party targeting, and user identification
- Lead exploration and provide recommendations of how LiveRamp can be leveraged to enhance existing technology tools with Innovid, Google, and the TradeDesk
- Directly manage the vendor relationship with LiveRamp to ensure proper project prioritization and usage of innovation funds
- Provide thought leadership and execution to delivering goals while maintaining privacy compliance
- Provide leadership and direction to implementation team regarding upcoming privacy legislation & translate those into proactive technology and data requirements for all Ad Tech products
- Collaborate on data governance around how data is collected across our owned properties to ensure consistency & compliance in the use of said data
- Possess the ability to collaborate with multiple cross functional stakeholders including, marketing, analytics, tech, privacy, security & compliance teams
- Ongoing Management of Media Tagging Capability
- Single-source owner of media tag structure and design on CVS websites (focus on TradeDesk & Google tags)
- Maintain a set of processes and products for monitoring different data collection configurations and audience enablement
- Set key tagging priorities within a tag management system
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in Product Ownership or Ad Technology is required
- 5+ years of experience with data identity tools (LiveRamp, Acxiom, etc) is required
- Expertise working in data connectivity platforms like LiveRamp, Acxiom, or Commerce Signals is required
- Expertise in SQL coding or media tagging is required
- Experience with Microsoft Tools (Excel, Powerpoint) is required
- Fluency with media tags like TradeDesk, Google Floodlight, or Innovid is required
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience with digital marketing or data science/analytics is preferred
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills, confident public speaking is a plus
- Demonstrated intellectual curiosity and ability to learn quickly
- High levels of self-motivation and attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task across numerous projects with many moving pieces
Education
- 4-year undergraduate degree in marketing, analytics, communications, or computer science
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$82,940.00 - $182,549.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
