Nexaminds is looking for an AI Engineer to develop, deploy, and optimize machine learning models focused on real-world environmental and industrial applications. The ideal candidate has experience in deep learning, computer vision, and end-to-end model lifecycle, and enjoys working at the intersection of AI and robotics in fast-paced environments.
Location: India
Qualifications we are looking for:
- 2+ years of experience building and deploying machine learning models
- Strong proficiency in Python
- Experience with deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow)
- Solid understanding of computer vision fundamentals (OpenCV)
- Experience with real-time object detection and classification
- Knowledge of full ML lifecycle (data curation, training, deployment, monitoring)
- Experience optimizing models for edge computing environments
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in dynamic environments
- Strong written and verbal English proficiency
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Nvidia Jetson or TensorRT optimization
- Familiarity with MLOps tools (Weights & Biases)
- Experience with ROS (Robot Operating System) or AI + robotics integration
Job duties:
- Develop and optimize deep learning models for real-time object detection and classification
- Integrate AI models into systems and ensure seamless interaction with hardware and software
- Collaborate with robotics and software engineering teams
- Test and validate models in real-world, unstructured environments
- Monitor model performance in production and handle model drift with retraining strategies
- Optimize models for low-latency inference on edge/on-site hardware
- Support data collection and model calibration when needed
