Primary Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models for production use
• Build and maintain scalable ML pipelines for data ingestion, training, evaluation, and inference
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and data scientists to translate business problems into ML solutions
• Optimize model performance, reliability, and efficiency through experimentation and tuning
• Integrate ML models into applications via APIs and microservices
• Monitor models in production, addressing data drift, model decay, and performance issues
• Apply best practices in MLOps, including versioning, CI/CD, and automated testing
• Ensure data quality, security, privacy, and responsible AI compliance
• Document designs, experiments, and decisions for maintainability and knowledge sharing
• Stay current with emerging AI/ML techniques and tools and apply them where appropriate

Required Qualifications:

• Experience or knowledge in the following:
  • Programming: Python (primary), plus Java/C++/Go as needed
  • Machine Learning: Supervised & unsupervised ML, model evaluation, feature engineering
  • Deep Learning: PyTorch, TensorFlow/Keras; CNNs, RNNs, Transformers
  • Generative AI: LLM fine tuning, prompt engineering, RAG systems
  • Data Processing: Pandas, NumPy, Spark (distributed data workflows)
  • MLOps: Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, model monitoring & drift detection
  • Cloud Platforms: Azure or AWS (model deployment, AI/ML services)
  • Vector Search: Pinecone, Milvus, Azure AI Search (embedding & retrieval systems)
  • Databases: SQL, Postgres, NoSQL
  • API Development: RESTful API integration, JSON handling
  • AI System Design: End to end ML lifecycle design & architecture
  • Authentication & Authorization: OAuth, JWT (for securing ML apps/services)
  • Mathematics: Linear algebra, calculus, probability, statistics
  • Testing: Unit tests for Python/ML pipelines
  • Version Control: Git, GitHub/GitLab
  • Experiment Tracking: MLflow, Weights & Biases
  • NLP & CV Skills: Embeddings, tokenization, semantic search, image models
  • Linux & DevOps: Shell, scripting, environment management
