About this role

Overview

The Executive Recruiting Analyst will support the Global Head of Executive Search and his senior team in delivering all logistical and administrative aspects of the hiring process for executive candidates. He/she will be accountable for ensuring a smooth and "white glove" experience for both candidates and hiring executives.  

The ideal candidate will be experienced in handling a wide range of administrative tasks and will be able to work well independently as well as in a team environment. The candidate must be exceedingly well organized, a self-starter that is passionate about providing excellent client service, with a process improvement mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interview Coordination: Schedule and manage complex, multi-stakeholder interviews for executive-level candidates, often across multiple time zones

  • Candidate Experience: Serve as a key point of contact, providing a high-touch, professional experience for candidates at every stage of the recruitment process

  • Owning all Workday administrative processes to track hiring information

  • Internal Communication: Communicate hiring updates and next steps clearly and professionally to internal recruiters, hiring managers, and other stakeholders

  • Partner with regional and global Recruiting Ops colleagues to share best practices and ensure services are delivered on a consistent basis

  • Effectively build relationships in a cordial and professional manner, consistently look for new ideas to further develop working relationships and seek opportunities to partner with colleagues throughout the firm

  • Provide ad hoc administrative support to the Head of Executive Search in a timely and thorough manner including handling confidential information with the utmost discretion

  • Partner with other team assistants in providing back-up administrative support when needed

Requirements and Essential Skills:

  • 1-4 years of experience in HR, consulting, or similar roles in a global firm, working in a high-paced environment

  • Exceptional Organizational Skills: To manage complex schedules and numerous candidates simultaneously

  • Strong Communication Skills: Both written and verbal to interact professionally and effectively with senior-level candidates and internal teams

  • Attention to Detail: Crucial for managing sensitive hiring processes and ensuring accuracy in documentation

  • Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS): To accurately manage candidate data and pipelines

  • Experience with and high proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint and be able to synthesize data to tell a story for senior leadership

  • Professionalism and Discretion: To maintain a high-standard candidate experience and handle confidential information

  • Adapts well to changing plans and priorities; deals comfortably with ambiguity

  • Ability to work on a flexible schedule to support early morning and late day interviews (as required)

  • Bachelor’s degree is strongly preferred

For New York, NY Only the salary range for this position is USD$80,750.00 - USD$100,000.00 . Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including healthcare, leave benefits, and retirement benefits. BlackRock operates a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy and your total compensation may vary based on role, location, and firm, department and individual performance.
