Duties and Responsibilities:
Organizational Design Activities:
- Responsible for organizational design system administration and support ongoing organizational design activities and/or projects.
- Maintain the methodology for job creation and evaluation, including the job matrix for all organizational roles.
- Uphold rules for organizational structure creation and span of control, facilitating new job/position creation and evaluating new or revised job descriptions for grading placement across all ADUSA Brands.
- Conduct reviews of the organizational structure and recommend changes to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Interpret Policy/Processes:
- Respond to inquiries, interpret gray areas, and suggest process improvements.
Level of Analysis:
- Perform moderately complex analytical tasks, identify root causes of errors, and recommend practical corrective actions.
- Utilize advanced tools (e.g., databases) to solve problems.
Subject Matter Expertise:
- Serve as a project lead, partnering with business and HR leaders to apply organization design expertise to solve moderately complex business problems.
System Configuration/Support:
- Perform moderately complex configuration testing and maintenance tasks for organization design systems.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and related work experience. Related experience includes:
- Roles in job analysis and evaluation.
- Managing organizational change initiatives, including restructuring and realignment.
- Leading or participating in projects related to organizational design, process improvement, or system implementation.
- Providing consulting services for organizational design, structure optimization, and workflow improvements.
- Interpreting and applying organizational policies and processes and suggesting improvements.
- Experience: 3+ years of HR, Compensation, Organization Design, or related experience.
- Skills: Intermediate MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); Access, PowerBI, and Orgvue preferred.
- Competencies: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, ability to work independently, and maintain high confidentiality.
- Travel: 5% of time spent outside the home office/store.
