You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and optimize applications that provide exceptional user experiences.
What You’ll Do:
- Application Development: Design, build, and maintain advanced Android applications using Kotlin.
- Architecture Design: Define and implement application architecture, ensuring scalability and maintainability.
- Code Quality: Write clean, efficient, and testable code following best practices.
- Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver seamless mobile experiences.
- Performance Optimization: Identify bottlenecks and improve app performance, responsiveness, and reliability.
- Release Management: Handle end-to-end release process on Google Play Store, including preparing builds, signing APKs/AABs, configuring release notes, managing staged rollouts, and monitoring post-release performance.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest Android trends, libraries, and tools to enhance development processes.
- Experience with Jetpack Compose and modern Android libraries.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for mobile app deployment.
- Exposure to Cloud services (Firebase).
- Prior experience leading projects or teams.
- Kotlin Expertise: Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Android SDK.
- UI/UX Knowledge: Experience with Material Design principles and building intuitive interfaces.
- API Integration: Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON, and third-party libraries.
- Testing: Hands-on experience with unit testing, UI testing, and automation frameworks.
- Version Control: Proficiency with Git and collaborative development workflows.
- Agile Practices: Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Release Expertise: Strong knowledge of Google Play Console, app signing, release tracks (internal, alpha, beta, production), and compliance with Play Store policies.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and debugging skills.
