About the Role:
We’re looking for a technically strong and curious individual to join our team as a Product Owner working on API Hub. In this role, you’ll partner closely with engineers, Product Managers, and UX designers to help deliver world-class developer experiences.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone with a background in software engineering, QA, or systems engineering who’s excited to grow into a Product Owner role—or who already has some experience and wants to deepen it. You’ll work on both SaaS and On-Premise products, and help drive the direction of tools trusted by thousands of API teams around the world.

Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Product Manager to refine and prioritize the backlog based on technical feasibility, customer needs, and business value.
- Own the day-to-day product development process, translating product strategy into actionable work for engineering teams: writing user stories, defining acceptance criteria, and supporting sprint planning and reviews.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure high-quality, well-tested releases for both SaaS and on-prem environments.
- Act as a bridge between technical teams and stakeholders, ensuring alignment and clarity on product direction.
- Collaborate with technical writers to ensure all new features, APIs, and updates are well-documented for external users.
- Contribute to go-to-market readiness by supporting release notes, customer communications, and internal/external training contentGather feedback from users, support teams, and internal stakeholders to continuously improve the product.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in a software engineering, QA, DevOps, or technical product role.
- Experience working with or developing SaaS and/or On-Premise software products.
- Strong technical understanding of APIs including how they are designed, tested, released, supported and consumed.
- Familiarity with agile development practices and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Productboard).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially when working across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- A passion for building developer-facing tools and improving the developer experience.
- Ability to liaise with cross-functional teams including engineering, documentation, sales, support, and marketing.
Nice to Have:
- Some experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar role in a software environment.
- Prior experience working in developer tooling, documentation platforms, or API lifecycle products.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Knowledge of enterprise deployment scenarios and customer IT environments.
- Understanding of Kubernetes and containerized deployment practices
