Summary: As an Application Support Engineer and technical resource, you have to do the analysis of the ticket, you will act as software detectives, providing a dynamic service that identifies and solves issues within multiple components of critical business systems. Your typical day will involve collaborating with various teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges, ensuring the seamless operation of essential applications and systems. You will act as software detectives, provide a dynamic service identifying and solving issues within multiple components of critical business systems. Roles & Responsibilities: 1. Data Analysis of Customer Incidents and Outages: • Analyze long-running incidents to identify root causes of delays • perform trend analysis, and • recommend process improvements. 2. Monthly End-to-End MPT Breach Analysis (GCID, Hyperscaler, CDCO) for Customer Incidents: • Identify Customer Incidents breaching MPT. • Analyze root causes and propose improvement plans based on trends. 3. Generate reports detailing the number of incidents handled by ECS vs. Hyperscaler, including time spent by Hyperscaler. 4. Customer Incident Ticket Audits: - Conduct monthly sample audits of P1, P2, and P3 incidents to identify patterns in: • Routing inefficiencies (e.g., excessive back-and-forth communication) • Process knowledge gaps • Quality of customer updates 5. Provide L2 level support in HANA Enterprise Cloud Technical Operations - BASIS Alert/Incident Management 6. SAP BASIS administration, SAP ABAP/JAVA/BOBJ troubleshooting including startup issues, performance analysis and exposure to DB concepts Sybase and HANA Professional & Technical Skills: • Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP Basis Administration. • Strong understanding of system architecture and integration. • Experience in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues. • Familiarity with database management and performance tuning. • SAP ABAP and Java administration • Knowledge of Basis system architecture on every component • SAP performance analysis, troubleshooting the SLD Issues, knowledge on SAP parameters • Backgroud job analysis, system health Check, license and certificate issues • Config tool, JSMON, Telnet Tools, analyzing memory dumps • Troubleshooting system issues Good to Have Skills: 1. SAP HANA, ASE Administration 2. Non-NetWeaver Application like BOBJ, BODS etc Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in SAP Basis Administration. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - The resource must be flexible to work in 24 / 7 shifts. - A 15 years full time education is required.15 years full time education
