Applications Development Sr Programmer Analyst - C12 - CHENNAI

Key Responsibilities:

• 6+ year of experience in Java and Spring boot
• Work proactively & independently to address project requirements, and articulate issues/challenges with enough lead time to address project delivery risks
• Providing expertise in technical analysis and solving technical issues during project delivery
• Customer interfacing - understand customer requirements, propose technical solutions
• Full Software Development Lifecycle (Agile)
• Experience in developing Spring Boot APIs along with security and performance aspects. 
• Strong Core Java and functional programming experience. 
• Experience with relational and no-sql database, preferred Oracle and MongoDB. 
• Development of common, reusable components and services. 
• Responsible for peer code reviews, unit testing, leveraging CICD pipeline of an application. 
• Open to learn and work on new technologies/products as needed. 
• Code reviews, test case reviews and ensure code developed meets the requirements
• Coding/ Unit Testing/ Debugging / Test Driven Development / Continuous Integration
• Carry out adaptive changes necessitated by changes in Business Requirements and Technology
• Utilize advanced knowledge of system flow and develop standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation
• Develop comprehensive knowledge of how areas of business, such as architecture and infrastructure, integrate to accomplish business goals
• Provide in-depth analysis with interpretive thinking to define issues and develop innovative solutions
• Serve as advisor or coach to mid-level developers and analysts, allocating work as necessary
   

Skills:

• Full stack developer with in depth knowledge and application of Core Java, Spring and Struts framework, Java Swing, EJB and JavaScript, should be good in threading concepts.
• Experience in all the software development life cycle along with Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipeline, SonarQube code quality tools, uDeploy.
• Hand-on experience in design patterns, middleware like EMS, Solace, MQ & cache technologies like Apache Ignite.
• Experience creating custom, general use modules and components which extend the elements and modules of core AngularJS
• Well verse with the use of  XML, JSON and REST services
• Thorough understanding of usage of the fundamental concepts like Exception Handling, Static block/variables/classes, OOPS concepts, Collections, Multi-Threading, http sessions, session handling, Servlets/JSP life cycle, JDBC, actions, events, implicit  objects, custom tags, context
• Awareness of application servers /webservers (Weblogic or JBoss)
• Creating unit test scripts for Angular JS components using standard frameworks
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and agile development environment and to learn new frameworks/technology stacks
• Work experience on the transactional applications for low latency, high availability uses is a plus
• Work experience in testing frameworks like Junit, TestNG is a plus
• Exposure to an industry-standard database (Oracle or Sybase or SQL Server) is a plus

Qualifications:

• Graduation/Post Graduation qualifications in Engineering stream with a very good academic record.
• A high degree of Analytical ability and Quantitative skills is desirable
