Role OverviewWe are looking for a Senior L2 Support Engineer with strong expertise in HFM (Hyperion Financial Management) and hands-on experience in Python, .NET, and SQL. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth functioning, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of financial applications.
Key Responsibilities- Provide L2 application support for HFM systems ensuring uptime and reliability
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical and functional issues within SLA timelines
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures
- Develop automation scripts using Python / .NET to improve efficiency
- Write and optimize SQL queries for data validation and issue resolution
- Coordinate with L1 support, developers, and business stakeholders
- Monitor application performance and proactively address risks
- Support financial closing cycles (month-end/year-end)
- Maintain documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base
- Ensure adherence to SLA, compliance, and quality standards
- 7+ years of experience in Application/Production Support
- Strong expertise in HFM (Hyperion Financial Management)
- Hands-on experience in Python, .NET, and SQL
- Experience with incident management tools (ServiceNow, Jira, etc.)
- Understanding of financial systems and reporting workflows
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work in rotational shifts (7 AM – 11 PM IST)
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience with Oracle Hyperion suite
- Exposure to automation in support environments
- Knowledge of financial consolidation and reporting systems
