Empower transformation by becoming a driving force of change at MAS as we are on the lookout for a dedicated individual to join the team as an Assistant - Consumption. This role will enable you to ensure that the consumption function in the respective accounts aligned to the business requirements, submitting costed RM Consumption in a competitive, timely and accurate manner to meet customers target price points, whilst generating RM Consumption savings via method & process improvements to retain earnings and ensuring manufacturing feasibility of methods and processes, submission of RM Consumption for Ordering and manufacturing in a timely and accurate manner. 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing raw material consumption calculations and marker plans for assigned styles using Gerber AccuMark, Shape Shifter, and other approved systems, while adhering to established SOPs and costing guidelines.

  • Support the consumption team in collecting, analyzing, and maintaining consumption-related data required for costing and Tech Pack preparation.

  • Assist in preparing preliminary and final raw material consumption values based on approved garment constructions under the guidance of senior team members.

  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams and manufacturing facilities to obtain information required for consumption calculations and updates.

  • Maintain accuracy of consumption records and update relevant systems, reports, and databases in a timely manner.

  • Assist in reviewing marker efficiencies and fabric utilization data to support accurate consumption estimates.

  • Support the team in addressing consumption-related queries raised by plants and other stakeholders by providing required information and documentation.

  • Assist in gathering production consumption feedback and comparing actual consumption against planned consumption for reporting purposes.

  • Support the preparation of cutting specifications and related documentation required for bulk production.

  • Ensure consumption-related documents, reports, and records are maintained in accordance with departmental procedures and quality requirements

  • Assist in implementing standard consumption methods and practices across customer categories as instructed by supervisors.

  • Perform other consumption-related administrative and operational support activities assigned by the immediate supervisor.


Knowledge and Qualifications

  • Degree in Textile Technology, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.

  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in CAD Room and Cutting operations within the garment industry.

  • Basic knowledge of GSD and sewing operations will be an added advantage.

  • Good analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • Familiarity with Gerber AccuMark, Shape Shifter, and PLM systems will be advantageous.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and adapt to operational requirements.
