We are seeking an experienced and certified Six Sigma Black Belt /Master Black Belt professional to join our leadership team as an Assistant General Manager. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in process improvement, IT service management, and Agile methodologies. The Assistant General Manager - Black Belt will lead cross-functional teams to drive business excellence, improve operational efficiency, and enhance customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Process Improvement & Transformation:
- Lead and execute Lean Six Sigma projects within Technology teams to improve efficiency, reduce defects, and enhance quality
- Identify waste and inefficiencies in software development, DevOps, cloud operations, and IT service management
- Develop and implement data-driven solutions to optimize software delivery, Agile execution, and incident management processes
- Drive initiatives to improve code quality, deployment efficiency, and automation adoption
Agile & DevOps Excellence:
- Work closely with Scrum Masters, and Product Owners, to streamline Agile execution
- Optimize Kanban and Scrum practices to enhance delivery speed and predictability
- Enhance CI/CD pipeline efficiency and support automation-driven improvements
Quality & Metrics:
- Establish and monitor KPIs related to software quality, Agile maturity, and DevOps performance
- Drive initiatives to improve test automation, defect reduction, and system stability
- Support teams in enhancing incident resolution time and first-time-right deployments
Requirements
- 17+ years of experience in in process excellence, technology operations, or software development
- Certified Six Sigma Black Belt /Master Black Belt required
- Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe), DevOps, and software development processes
- Proven track record in leading process improvement projects in a technology environment
- Hands-on experience in automation, CI/CD, test-driven development, and Agile transformations
- Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Nice to Have
- Proficiency in data analytics and visualization tools (e.g., Python, R, Power BI, Tableau)
- Experience with Agile and DevOps tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Jenkins, GitHub
- Experience in cloud computing environments and exposure to AI/ML- process optimization
