Responsibilities:Month-End Closing:
Lead the month-end closing process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements.
Coordinate with other finance team members to resolve discrepancies and ensure completeness of financial data.
Analyse financial results and provide insights to management on variances and trends.
Audit Coordination:
Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external auditors.
Prepare audit schedules, provide supporting documentation, and facilitate audit fieldwork.
Address audit inquiries and ensure compliance with audit requirements and regulatory standards.
Implement audit recommendations to enhance internal controls and financial reporting processes.
Vendor Payments:
Schedule and process payments to vendors through cheques, NEFT/RTGS, or other payment methods.
Maintain payment records and ensure timely disbursement in line with contract terms.
Coordinate with vendors for payment-related queries and documentation.
Ensure compliance with TDS/GST and other applicable tax deductions.
Travel & Expense Reimbursement:
Review and audit employee travel claims for accuracy and policy compliance.
Coordinate with employees to rectify any discrepancies in travel expenses.
Process approved travel and expense reimbursements in a timely manner.
Maintain accurate records and support audits as needed.
Process Improvement:
Identify opportunities to streamline month-end closing processes and improve efficiency.
Implement best practices and automation tools to enhance the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.
Continuously assess internal controls and implement enhancements to mitigate risks.
Provide training and guidance to finance team members on accounting procedures and systems.
Qualifications:CA 2+ Year/CA Inter / Master’s degree 5+Year experience in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards (e.g., IND AS and IGAAP).
Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
Experience in process improvement initiatives and project management.
