About the Role:
Crowdstrike is looking for Assistant Manager, Salutatory Audit in Pune, where you'll drive critical month-end close processes, group reporting, and statutory audits for our global operations. This leadership role offers the opportunity to manage a high-performing accounting team while overseeing complex financial operations including journal entries, reconciliations, and foreign subsidiary reporting under US GAAP.
What You’ll Do:
Drive monthly close process, which includes recording and reviewing journal entries; preparing and reviewing account reconciliations and researching fluxes.
Group reporting- timely submission of monthly, quarterly, annual and other ad - hoc requirement to group
Support the statutory audit process, preparation and review of statutory financial statements and drive the audit closure for foreign subsidiaries.
Lead and supervise the team, manage day-to-day operation and month end close to ensure deadlines and deliverables are submitted accurately and on time, advising team on journal validation/ substantiation and supporting to ensure proper audit trails
Journal booking and preparation of balance sheet reconciliations, as required or needed
Act as escalation point for any issues involving month end, quarter, year-end close. Monitor and manage issues, escalations and/or exceptional handling requests
Responsible for cash clearing, month end accruals, amortization of prepaid expenses,and recording of adjusting and reclassification journal entries within the corporate accounting function.
Drive general accounts analysis and reconciliations, including bank accounts, prepaid expenses, accruals and convertible debt.
Review intercompany cash and settlement entries, clear open items for cash and intercompany accounts, and perform TB upload for certain foreign subsidiaries.
Responsible for general ledger entries by maintaining records and files.
Answers accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data.
Manage the infrastructure accounting end to end processes for data centers
Coordinate audit and tax requests including preparation of supporting reports and documentation.
Complete complex research and inquiries of GL transactions and activities.
Assist with accounting integration activities, which includes implementing a variety of finance and accounting related software solutions.
Assist in development and implementation of new policies and procedures.
Heavily involved with continuous process improvement in driving process efficiency and effectiveness, as well as looking into standardization of RTR global processes.
Other projects as assigned based on business needs.
What You’ll Need:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline required.
CA or CPA with 6-9years of experience, at least 3+ years proven management/supervisory experience
Strong understanding of US GAAP.
Managed teams, represented as a controller
Stakeholder management and building relationships: Make and keep commitments, seek opportunities to partner with customers, be optimistic, and anticipate needs
Knowledge of preparing consolidated financial statements
Knowledge of getting audit done from Big 4
Candidate should be self-motivated, able to effectively prioritize responsibilities, work within tight deadlines, and work in a dynamic environment.
Good communicator, confident in interacting with all levels of individuals across a variety of internal functions (remote or on site) with excellent interpersonal skill to build relationships with a range of stakeholders
Must be able to think outside the box, work independently with general supervision, be a team player
Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement.
Advanced Microsoft Word and Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP functions, etc.) a Plus.
ERP (accounting software package) experience is required. NetSuite experience is preferred.
