Job Description Summary

This role supports the end-to-end management of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and building services systems across project phases. Assists in design coordination, procurement, cost tracking, site supervision, QA/QC, testing and commissioning activities. Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to ensure compliance with design, codes, and sustainability standards. The role emphasizes risk management, schedule adherence, and technical quality, contributing to timely, efficient, and cost-effective MEP project delivery with strong client satisfaction.

About the Role:

  • Develop MEP execution plans, resource schedules, and budgeting aligned with overall project timelines and milestones
  • Lead design review of MEP drawings, specifications, shop drawings, and technical submittals to ensure constructability and compliance with standards (e.g. ASHRAE, IEC, local codes)
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary interfaces (architecture, structural, civil) to resolve clashes, service penetrations, and sequencing issues using BIM / clash detection workflows
  • Manage procurement of major equipment and long-lead items, evaluate vendor proposals, negotiate contracts, and ensure vendor deliverables meet technical requirements
  • Monitor cost control and financial performance via estimates, forecasts, value engineering, and monthly reporting
  • Supervise MEP installation onsite: schedule execution, manage subcontractors, ensure workmanship, material quality, and compliance to drawings and specifications
  • Plan, execute, and manage testing, balancing, commissioning, performance validation, and handover documentation including O&M manuals, as-built drawings, warranties, and training
  • Oversee integration and commissioning of controls / BMS systems, alarms, automation, and ensure energy efficiency and performance tuning
  • Enforce safety, statutory, environmental and regulatory compliance, conduct site safety reviews, ensure safe systems of work and PPE usage
  • Identify, assess, mitigate risks and technical issues early; manage change orders, claims and variations; escalate where necessary
  • Maintain stakeholder communication: clients, consultants, authorities, contractors; deliver periodic reports, technical clarifications, progress updates

About You:

  • B.E. / B-Tech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  •  5 to 8 years & above of relevant MEP experience
  • Should have completed at least 3-5 Residential, industrial, commercial, or institutional projects with full MEP scope (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, ELV)
  • Experience with Project Management Consultancy (PMC) preferred
  • Strong technical knowledge of MEP systems integration with civil and architectural works
  • Excellent organizational, coordination, and leadership skills
  • High attention to detail, proactive problem-solving, and analytical ability
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills
