Associate Content Analyst - Scholarly Items (Extraction/Curation/preprint)

We are looking for an Associate Content Analyst to join our Scholarly Items (SI) – Masters Team in Chennai. This is an amazing opportunity to work on Web of Science products. Skill sets we have are - bibliographic data curation for Web of Science and we would love to speak with you if you have skills in data curation from research papers.

About You

  • Must be a graduate from any subject background. (apply only if you have received the degree results/course completion certificate)
  • Must have good communication & comprehension skills in English on a professional level.
  • Should have typing skills (certifications preferred)

It would be great if you also had . . .  

  • Knowledge about publishing industry will be an added advantage.

What will you be doing in this role? 

  • You will be working with editorial content operations teams to extract/curate bibliographic information like publication details, article title, author information, keywords, language, article identifiers and abstracts from the assigned articles.
  • You are expected to follow prescribed editorial policies and procedures followed to capture the bibliographic information and ensure that the other deliverables are met.
  • You will work with the Scholarly Items content operations team for the WOS product. You will not only help curate the content for our product, but also make a big change to the customers life whose thesis or research is dependent on the exciting articles and journals that are available in “Web of Science”.
  • Work on achieving and maintaining consistent quality standards & make personal planning.

About the Team   

We are a multi-talented & multi-cultural team of 36+ people in Curation and 43+ people in Preprint. We are team with Content Manager (Vivek), Team Managers, Content Editor, Senior Content Editor, Product Owner, Content Specialist and Quality Analyst.

Hours of Work (Full time)

We work from Monday to Friday from 9AM to 6PM IST (including 1 hr break)
