We are looking for an Associate Content Editor to join our Trademark Indexing team in Chennai/ Noida. This is an amazing opportunity to work on content editing trademark records, and CompuMark Databases. We would love to speak with you if you have skills in data entry work, Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook & Internet), and possess strong communication skills.

About You

  • A bachelor’s degree graduate in Commers, Computer applications, Arts or similar domain.
  • Can be a fresher or a talent with 6 months to two years’ experience in customer focused or content editing environment.
  • If experience must posse 6 months experience working on content operations like indexing, curating, ingesting, updating, editing and enriching datasets.
  • Should have practical knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook & Internet).

It would be great if you also had . . .  

  • Knowledge of the Intellectual Property (IP) industry, products, and services.

What will you be doing in this role? 

  • Responsible for processing Trademark data information to prepare for input into CompuMark’s Trademark databases that are used directly by customers as well as internal personnel for creating Trademark research reports for customers. 
  • Validate, edit and enrich Trademark records by applying indexing to the word elements of Trademark records.
  • Deliver high quality Trademark records by ensuring completeness, proper data structure, and timeliness of Trademark record updates.
  • Successfully complete applicable training to learn all job-relevant systems and information which may include Trademark Fundamentals, Introduction to Products, Overview of the Customers, Trademark indexing training, Introduction to Trademark Indexing applications such as TIPSi, Atrium, and other production systems, and other specialized database/process training.

About the Team   

        Trademark Indexing is a dynamic team in a rapidly changing industry. The team consists of 14 people and is reporting to the Team Manager. The team is experienced in Indexing, curating, ingesting, updating, editing and enriching Trademark records for input into CompuMark databases.

Hours of Work 

8.30 am to 5.30 pm IST (Including one hour break)

Mode of work – Hybrid 2-3 days/week (Mon to Fri)
