s an Associate Software Engineer with a focus on Generative AI (GenAI), you will play a key role in developing intelligent, cloud-native applications. This role emphasizes 70% software development and 30% DevOps practices, ideal for candidates passionate about building scalable systems that integrate AI capabilities. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, build, and deploy backend services and automation pipelines that power GenAI solutions.What You'll Bring:
Job Duties
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Node.js, Spring Boot, Python, or Java.
- Collaborate with AI/ML teams to integrate GenAI models into production-ready applications.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support rapid development and deployment.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and application deployment in cloud environments (AWS/GCP).
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting for application health and performance.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving code quality and development standards.
- Support containerized deployments using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Participate in a rotational 24x7 on-call schedule for production support (light ops).
- Apply security best practices in application development and deployment.
Impact You'll Make:
Qualifications/Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong programming skills in Python, Java, Node.js, or Spring Boot.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD tools (e.g., GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud Platform.
- Understanding of containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Basic knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Internship or project experience in software development or DevOps.
- Experience or interest in Generative AI technologies is highly desirable.
