Position Summary
The Senior HR Specialist, HR Operations & Technology, plays a critical role in driving operational excellence, HR technology enablement, workforce analytics, data governance, and continuous improvement across the People function.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, HR Transformation, with a dotted-line reporting relationship to the Associate Manager, HR Operations, this role serves as a key subject matter expert for HR operations processes, HR technology platforms, reporting solutions, and employee lifecycle management.
The role combines strong HR operational expertise with technical, analytical, and project management capabilities to optimize processes, improve employee experience, enhance data quality, and support data-driven decision-making across a global organisation.
Key Responsibilities
HR Operations Excellence
- Lead and continuously improve end-to-end employee lifecycle processes including onboarding, employee changes, promotions, transfers, and offboarding.
- Drive process standardisation, simplification, and operational efficiency across regions.
- Monitor operational KPIs, service levels, and data quality to ensure a high standard of service delivery.
- Support compliance, governance, and audit requirements across HR operations.
HR Technology & Systems
- Act as a functional SME for HR technology platforms, including Oracle Fusion, ServiceNow, and related People systems.
- Support system configuration, testing, upgrades, enhancements, and release activities.
- Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and manage issue resolution with HR, IT, Payroll, and external vendors.
- Support integrations between HR, payroll, and other business systems.
- Develop and maintain system documentation, user guides, and knowledge resources.
Workforce Analytics & Continuous Improvement
- Develop and maintain workforce dashboards, reports, and Power BI solutions.
- Analyse workforce data and provide insights to support business decision-making.
- Lead data validation, reconciliation, and governance activities to improve reporting accuracy.
- Identify opportunities for automation, process improvement, and enhanced employee experience.
- Document and optimise HR processes to drive operational excellence.
Skills & Experience
Essential
- 6–8 years' experience in HR Operations, HRIS, HR Shared Services, or HR Technology.
- Strong understanding of HR processes and employee lifecycle management.
- Experience working with HR platforms such as Oracle Fusion, Workday, and/or ServiceNow.
- Strong reporting and analytical skills, including advanced Excel.
- Experience supporting HR systems, data governance, and process improvement initiatives.
- Strong stakeholder management and problem-solving capabilities.
Preferred
- Experience working in a global or matrix organisation.
- Experience with Power BI or similar reporting and visualisation tools.
- Exposure to HR system implementations, integrations, or optimisation projects.
- Experience supporting HR reporting, workforce analytics, and operational governance.
