The Associate Product Designer will collaborate in an agile environment to create engaging user interfaces. Responsibilities include designing user experience solutions, communicating design ideas, generating prototypes, and conducting user research. An emphasis is placed on team collaboration and advocacy for user needs in product design, especially within enterprise applications.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Be a great team player in an agile environment with the ability to collaborate closely with engineers, product managers, technical product managers, and other product designers to create accessible, elegant, and engaging user interfaces while balancing technical and delivery constraints.
- Effectively communicate conceptual ideas, detailed design, design rationale, and research findings, both verbally and visually.
- Creates, evaluates, and modifies the user experience designs (user interface comps, visual design specs, prototypes, and other visual assets) for medium-sized, diverse projects. Demonstrates up-to-date expertise in user experience design and applies this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans.
- Generates overall user experience solution and takes ownership of the usability within feasibility limits
- Embrace ambiguity and bring clarity to complex problems by independently tracking down answers and validating with stakeholders.
- Advocate for users, is highly proactive & gets the job done.
Required Candidate profile:
- UX Design Experience: 1-2 years in Product design. Enterprise application designing experience is preferred.
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in design or equivalent experience.
- A portfolio showcasing design projects, including user interfaces, prototypes, and design systems.
- Proficiency in Design Tools: Strong competency using Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, Illustrator, or Photoshop.
- Knowledge of design principles, user-centered design, and accessibility best practices (preferred).
- A keen eye for detail, color, typography, and layout.
- Design Systems Expertise: Basic understanding on building and using design systems for scalability and consistency across products.
- User Research & Testing: Basic understanding in conducting user research, prototyping, wireframing, and usability testing to validate and refine designs.
- Technical Proficiency: Basic understanding of HTML CSS to collaborate effectively with developers.
- Accessibility & Compliance: Basic understanding of accessibility principles and experience in testing for accessibility in enterprise applications.
- Communication & Leadership: Exceptional communication and presentation skills with experience working across global teams and time zones, able to represent and advocate for the product vision to internal and external stakeholders.
- Curiosity & Adaptability: A growth mindset with a curiosity-driven approach, open to feedback, and focused on continuously improving for customer satisfaction.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in design or related field preferred
