JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

Content Compliance Editor is responsible to ensure that all programs meet the transmission requirement and deadline and also adhere to the Content Code and Regulatory Guidelines.
Key Roles includes but not limited to:-

  • House-mastering for all media on Astro Push and Pull Content platform
  • Have a good understanding and comply to Malaysia Guidelines on Film Censorship and The Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Content Code
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of all relevant regulatory codes and banned list program
  • Perform censorship edits and ensure that the presentation does not impact customer viewing experience.
  • Technically competent to ensure house-mastering of media follows internal SOPs and Astro Broadcast Standard and Technical Specifications
  • To identify areas of opportunity and propose improvements
  • Log all edit notes and produce censorship and or banned report when necessary
  • Generate individual productivity reports (jobsheet)

REQUIREMENTS:

WHO YOU ARE:

  • Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree in Mass Communications, Broadcasting, Digital Multimedia or any other related fields. 
  • Required language(s): English and Bahasa Malaysia. Proficiency in other languages would be an added advantage. 
  • Preferable with 1-2 years of working experience in the related field. 
    Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.  
  • Ability to communicate in Chinese or Indian or Punjabi languages is an added advantage.  
  • Willing to work on shift and public holidays.
  • Possess own transport
