Job Description/Preferred Qualifications

Essential Responsibilities:
1. Acquire and demonstrate technical knowledge of LIS product software.
2. Perform requirements analysis, software design, development and unit testing
3. Participate in requirements definition and review process. Provide Technical assessment of the impact of any changes to product requirements.
4. Providing technical expertise to the estimation process as input to the project plan
4. Acquire knowledge of key use cases in Direct Imaging(DI) Product line.
5. Follow KLA defined software development processes
6. Understand and make changes to existing software.
7. In conjunction with the Software Manager, highlights, reviews and mitigates technical risks
8. Contributes to the continued improvement of the organization's development procedures, by looking for opportunities for improvement and proposing ideas for solution.
9. Ensuring that detailed designs, code, and unit tests, are consistent, robust, future-proof and scalable.
 

Minimum Qualifications

Required:

  • BE / BS / BTech degree with 5+ years of software development experience.
  • Strong command of programming fundamentals and C#/.NET.
  • Thorough knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and software engineering principles.
  • Hands-on experience in analysis, design, development, and unit testing.
  • Proven ability to interact and communicate effectively with all levels of staff and project management — across both business and technical areas — keeping discussions at the appropriate level of abstraction.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, organizational, interpersonal, and motivational skills, with the ability to move seamlessly from theoretical concepts to practical implementation.
  • Willingness to travel to Germany, the USA, and other customer locations on short-term assignments.
  • Solid, hands-on experience in .NET and C#/WPF.

Preferred:

  • Knowledge of C++ and Windows Internals.

Nice to Have:

  • Familiarity with KLA-specific or general semiconductor domain knowledge.
