The Global Products Group (GPG) is responsible for creating all of KLA’s metrology and inspection products. GPG brings together world‑class research scientists, software engineers, application developers, and product technologists focused on solving the industry’s most demanding challenges.
LS‑SWIFT Division
The LS‑SWIFT Division, part of GPG, delivers patterned wafer inspection systems for high‑volume semiconductor manufacturing. Our mission is to provide market‑leading cost of ownership in defect detection across a broad range of semiconductor applications.
Customers across foundry, logic, memory, automotive, MEMS, and advanced packaging markets rely on LS‑SWIFT products for high‑sampling, high‑value wafer inspection insights.
- LS (Laser Scanning) systems enable cost‑effective patterned wafer defect detection for leading‑edge foundry, logic, DRAM, and NAND fabs.
- SWIFT (Simultaneous Wafer Inspection at Fast Throughput) systems deliver full wafer‑surface macro inspection—frontside, backside, and edge—critical for automotive ICs, MEMS, advanced packaging, and memory manufacturing.
LS‑SWIFT operates globally across the United States, Singapore, India, and Germany, serving customers throughout Asia, Europe, and North America.

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high‑performance, production‑grade software using C# and/or Java
- Succeed in a high‑velocity engineering environment, using ninja‑level programming skills and sound judgment to move quickly without compromising quality
- Build world‑class user experience products by developing adaptive, scalable frontend and backend systems tailored for high‑volume semiconductor manufacturing
- Develop deep technical expertise in inspection system software
- Own and contribute across the entire product development lifecycle, from requirements and design to development, deployment, and support
- Learn and apply key defect inspection use cases using SWIFT tools
- Collaborate closely with global engineering teams across multiple geographies
- Work cross‑functionally with systems, hardware, applications, marketing, and manufacturing teams
- Apply and continuously improve software engineering best practices
- Exposure to or interest in working with AI‑driven technologies and intelligent systems is a plus
- Support software deployment, service, and customer success activities
- Embrace opportunities to travel globally, collaborating with teams and customers at KLA sites worldwide to support and advance cutting‑edge products
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in BE / BTech / MS / MCA / MTech
- Strong foundation in programming fundamentals with hands‑on experience in C#
- Experience with Java is a strong plus
- Solid understanding of software design principles and the SDLC
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a global, cross‑functional team environment
