Profile Summary:
We are looking for an Auditor with a total of 2 - 4 years of experience in the industry and/or public accounting firm to join our growing Internal Audit team. This position will assist in the assessment of audits within Resolution Life US. The Auditor is responsible for evaluating risk and controls, designing audit procedures to ensure controls are effective and functioning to avoid losses and meet regulatory requirements, and identifying opportunities to improve operational efficiency.
Profile Responsibilities:
- Participate in the planning, fieldwork and reporting phases of audits.
- Familiarity with systems and tools to obtain relevant and timely information pertinent to audit deliverables.
- Perform testing of internal controls to mitigate risks
- Monitor and report on the progression of audit deliverables.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, learning, and excellence.
- Drive continuous improvement and automation of audit processes and systems, leveraging advancements in technology.
- Understand and articulate issues and potential resolutions.
- Demonstrate solid written and verbal communication skills in meetings, documentation and workpapers.
- Monitor identified audit findings through closure and validate effectiveness of remediation efforts.
Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Knowledge & Experience:
2 - 4 years of experience in auditing
Experience and knowledge of financial services / insurance industry
Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in Accounting, Finance, Business, or IT is required.
Advanced degree (MBA) and/or professional certification (CPA, CIA, CISA, etc.) is desirable.
Experience and knowledge of business processes and controls.
Builds effective and collaborative peer-level relationships.
Demonstrates problem-solving skills.
Proactively identifies and resolves issues as they arise.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and effectively to contribute to team objectives.
Ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Good knowledge of internal controls, business processes, and IIA standards.
Location: West Chester, PA preferred (generally 1-2 days/week in the office, may be more); Open to Atlanta, GA

West Chester, PA - $72,900- $89,100
Atlanta, GA: $66,300- $81,000
